This is the longplay of game Fire Emblem: Sword of Seals (Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade in the fan translation), a game of RPG and turn-based strategy developed by Intelligent Systems and published by Nintendo only in Japan. Binding Blade was eventually by followed the prequel, Fire Emblem: the Sword of Flame (in USA is called only Fire Emblem), the first in the series to be released outside Japan.
The Binding Blade takes place in the fictional continent of Elibe, Which is split into six nations of diverse styles ruling: Lycia, Bern, Etruria, Sacae, Missur and Ilia. There is an archipelago to the northwest called the Western Isles, composed of Caldonia, Fibernia, and Dia. The Fire Emblem in this game is the Imperial Seal required to assume or Recognize the Bernian throne. Binding Blade happen 20 years after its prequel, Fire Emblem: The Sword of Flame. Because The Sword of Flame takes place 20 years prior to The Binding Blade and was designed to introduce western audiences to the gameplay of the Fire Emblem series
The main character of this version is Roy (son of Eliwood) a young warrior who goes to lead the Lycian Arm due to his father being sick to battle. Throughout his journey he will face with Zephiel, until then a person that his father knew well and who is now a ruthless villain who is leading the major invasions various kingdoms of the game. During his Roy journey rescue Lilina, mage and daughter of Hector (who is best friend of Eliwood) and gradually several allies will joining the Roy's army, while several characters present in Fire Emblem: The Sword of Flame as Marcus, Bartre and Karel appear in this game, as well older. The game was also the first of the Fire Emblem series to a handheld console and also the first to have the Support of talks (unfortunately still limited to a few conversations per stage in this version compared to later versions). It is an excellent game, that longplay is quite long but very worth it to play this game twice. The video includes:
* All sidequests with all obtained legendary weapons (required for the real final battle) * Played twice on the two routes (with unique chapters and personages in each of them): - To access the Route A is necessary: not visit the house in right side of map in Chapter 9 and finish the chapter 16 with the Nomads (Shin and Sue) with higher level than the Pegasus Knights (Shanna and Tate) - To access the Route B is required: visit the house in right side of map in Chapter 9 and finish the chapter 16 with the Pegasus Knights (Shanna and Tate) with higher level than the Nomads (Shin and Sue) * All characters promoted to his second class!
